In a secret ceremony, Kerry recently tied a knot with NFL star Nnamdi Asomuga. She has also been nominated for an Emmy for her role in the ABD drama. Kerry revealed that she has never been happier than this.
She revealed it in an interview that she does not love to talk about her personal life in the press. But this time as she is happy, she has no hesitations. She reveals that she feels that she is blessed in all areas of her life.
She feels that she is the luckiest broad in showbiz. She just feel really blessed and humbled and grateful for this nomination.
Speaking about the Emmy’s ceremony which will take place on September 22 in Los Angeles, she said that she is yet to decide that who will be her date. She said that even her parents asked the same question from her. She will see to it.
Kerry recently opened up about her desire to live a normal life and revealed she was always reluctant to be an actress because she didn’t want to be famous.
She said that she is a daughter of a professor, so acting was not a real job. She came from this sort of academic, working middle-class family where it is necessary to make something respectable of your life . She always loved acting, but she think for a long time, in her brain, the desire to be an actor was equivalent to the desire to be famous. She did not want to be famous. She did not want to be that girl. She thought that if you wanted to be an actress, you had to want to be on the front cover of magazines, otherwise you shouldn’t do it.
She feels lucky that she comes from a really grounded family and she has three best friends from high school who have made it their job to remain unimpressed by everything she does.
